Welcome to Hickory Valley Preschool

Hickory Valley Preschool is a small early childhood education center located in the heart of historic downtown Walterboro, South Carolina.

We are a full-day preschool program offering a wide range of developmentally appropriate activities for young children between the ages of two and five. Our approach is a creative one, acknowledging that children learn in many different ways. The environment here is one where the focus is on the children. The rooms are spacious, bright and airy with many touches that feel like home. Classrooms are stocked with an array of interesting materials and equipment. Children love the cozy Studio where they learn music and other extra-curriculars. The large great room is our space for meals and special events such as the holiday puppet show. Nestled beneath beautiful oak trees is our newly expanded playground where children can run, climb, dig, and pedal. Our dedicated staff truly love working with young children and bring fun and exciting ideas to their classrooms every day.
